Employer’s liability insurance is required by law, and the majority of the policies we can obtain will automatically have a £10 million indemnity limit. Public liability insurance is another key addition to your policy, ensuring that you are covered if a member of the public is injured or have any of their possessions damaged whilst on your premises. Our carefully selected insurance partners offer excellent product liability insurance cover, just in case a member of the public suffers an injury or damage to their property as a result of a product that you have sold. The automatic indemnity limit for product liability cover is £2 million, but you have the option to increase this up to a maximum of £5 million.
Additional Cover
In addition to the core insurance cover listed above, we can obtain a selection of additional options for you to add to your policy as you see fit.
- Goods in Transit Insurance: Covers your goods against loss or damages whilst in your vehicle, up to the value of £2,500 per vehicle.
- Contents Insurance: Provides cover for damage to your office or surgery contents. This includes computers, telephones, laptops, mobiles and fixtures & fittings in the event of a fire, flood, vandalism or theft.
- Business Interruption Insurance: This protects your business in the event of a temporary shutdown due to insured perils, such as floods and fires. Business interruption insurance will cover you for profit loss and continuing expenses as a result of the incident.
Please note that it is important for you to state the maximum amount of contents that your business has when applying for cover. This is to make sure that you will receive the full pay out if you make a claim.
